How to Use a Cheech Flower Percolator Dab Rig

• The first thing you will do is enough water in the dab rig to cover all open ends of the built-in percolator. Water will cool and filter your concentrate vapor, giving you a much cooler, smoother hit than you otherwise would get.
• Next, the dab nail needs to be heated. An easy heat source to use for dab rigs is a hand torch, which if you do not have, you should invest in. The heating process will vary depending on the specific dab nail you are using. Heat quartz and titanium nails until they are red hot. If using a ceramic nail, you will need to just need to apply heat from the hand torch for several minutes since, unlike quartz and titanium, ceramic has no visible change when heat is applied. The hand torch should never be directed at the dab rig itself, as the glass will likely crack with exposure to an intense heat source. If using an e-nail (an electric dab nail), simply turn it on and input your desired temperature settings.
• After heating whatever dab nail you happen to have, you will need to let it cool for 30-45 seconds. This will allow it time to cool so you do not burn your concentrate, but enough heat will be retained that you still get a vapor. If using an e-nail, you may skip this step. Just make sure you have allowed the nail time to heat to the temperature you set it to.
• Once cooled, use your dab tool to place your concentrate on the heated dab nail (remember not to touch the dab nail with your fingers!) Spread the concentrate along the inside ridge of the nail. This will produce vapor and allow you to have good control over the concentrate.
• As the concentrate is heated, it produces vapor. As soon as the concentrate hits the nail, you should begin drawing the vapor into the dab rig. The vapor will pass through the percolator before the water, which will help it diffuse before you inhale it. This provides a great, smooth flavor.
• As the dab rig fills with vapor, inhale it! Continue to suck in until all vapor from inside the rig has been drawn out. How much vapor is produced will depend on how much concentrate was applied to the dab nail.
• If you are ready for another hit, you may need to reheat the dab nail. Once it is heated (and allowed to cool for 30-45 seconds), repeat the steps!
