Who Is Flowermate?

Who is Flowermate?

Smiss Technology Company, the parent of Flowermate, has been developing vaporizing devices since 2009. Extremely successful in the e-cigarette market worldwide, they used their design experience to create several solid herb vaporizers for low prices. Since they are a world-wide company, they support charging in both 110v and 220v outlets.

Where Flowermate really excels is affordability.  If you are considering getting into herb vaporizers, they are an excellent place to start. Their performance is all-around solid and most of their vapes have excellent temperature settings, but you can expect a few compromises for the lower price tag.

Vaporizers Offered by Flowermate

Flowermate offers several models for herb vaping and a few for extracts. Several herb models support liquid and extract vaporization with accessories. They have a few standalone models and several versions of their V5 Herb Vaporizer. All versions of the V5 support water-pipe adapters, have isolated air paths, and use conduction heating. V5 models are stealthy and look like mobile power banks. They all take about 30 seconds to heat up.  Choosing between them can get a little confusing, so we’ll start with the cheapest and move up from there.

The V5.0s Mini Dry Herb Vaporizer

The V5.0s Mini Dry Herb Vaporizer

The V5.0s Mini has most of the features of it’s bigger brother, but is just a tiny version - smaller than your average smartphone. It has three heat settings, ceramic conduction heating chamber, and a 0.3g bowl.

The V5.0s Vaporizer

The Flowermate V5.0s Vaporizer

The Flowermate V5.0s is more-or-less the same as its miniature counterpart but has some advantages for discretion. The slightly larger size allows for internal storage of the mouthpiece and the longer airpath grants a cooler hit.

The V5.0s Pro Mini Vaporizer for Dry Herbs

The Flowermate V5.0s Pro Mini Vaporizer for Dry Herbs

The Flowermate V5 Pro Mini has multiple improvements over the standard V5.0s.  It has an LED display with wide, customizable temperature settings from 104°F to 446°F. That allows for low temperature vaping. It comes with a nice package of accessories that allow you to use extracts and oils instead of herbs. It also allows you to adjust your airflow, an interesting innovation not always seen in pocket herb vapes.

The V5.0s Pro Vaporizer

The V5.0s Pro Vaporizer

The Flowermate V5 Pro allows complete temperature control in 1°F increment. It doubles the battery life of the mini version, which makes the dual function as a mobile powerbank much more feasible. A longer-lasting battery also means more consistent performance. It also has a longer airpath for cooler, smoother hits. Still small enough to fit in your pocket, this is the most cost-efficient vaporizers on the market.  It costs about $70 more than the lowest V5.0s model.

The V5.0x Mini

The V5.0x Mini

On average, the V5.0x models by Flowermate are a bit more expensive than the V5.0s counterparts. Coming in at $120, the lowest X model has six different temperature settings. That makes it more customizable than the S Mini, but less than the S Mini Pro.

The 5.0x

The 5.0x

The 5.0x has most of the same features as the mini, but with a longer air path and a better battery. Both of these models support wax vape pods with organic cotton wicks, so they are great choices for people interested in concentrate vaporization. They are operated by one button and support a “stealth mode” which turns off the LED lights for more discreet vaping.

The V5 Nano

The Flowermate V5 Nano

The Flowermate V5 Nano is the culmination of the V5 models. It has an LCD display which helps you set the fully customizable temperature range. It is as small as the mini models but has a new, sleek, ultra-discreet design. Its battery is removable, so you can keet your vaporizer charged indefinitely and carry a spare on long trips.

The Cross Wax and Dry Herb Vaporizer

The Cross Wax and Dry Herb Vaporizer

The cross allows you to choose whether to vape wax concentrates, herb, or both together. It has two separate heating chambers, one designed for wax and the other for herbs. They both heat to ideal temperatures for their respective uses and have a decent temperature range. It is a very convenient vape for packing two different types of product and switching from one to the other after it is used up.

The Hybrid X Dry Herb and Wax Vaporizer

The Hybrid X Dry Herb and Wax Vaporizer

The Hybrid X also supports both herb and concentrates, but takes it in a new direction. One side of the vape is for herbs, and the other has a 510 thread for screwing on sub-ohm tanks. If you like to have some nicotine with your herb or you like to buy prepackaged oils, this is an excellent choice.

The Purehit

The Purehit

The Purehit looks a lot like an e-juice vaporizer when assembled. It is a little bit pricier than other models, but is more powerful, extremely durable, and easy to clean. It has full temperature control and an advanced radial heating chamber. It is made from pure stainless steel and high-quality glass, which gives it a very classy and futuristic appearance. It easily breaks down into 5 different pieces so that it can be stored discreetly, and is designed with smell retention and discreet vapor clouds in mind.

The Aura Dry Herb Vape

The Aura Dry Herb Vape

The Aura is a decently sized pen vape, standing at about six inches. It supports both herb and extract vaporization with a full range of temperature customization. It has seven heating pathways and an advanced ceramic chamber to allow excellent airflow and even vaporization of your substances. The simple pop-top design allows you to quickly empty and refill your vape.

The Slick Vape Pen

The Slick Vape Pen

The Slick is like a stripped-down Aura, but it does not have the same support for concentrates. It has three temperature settings and a removable battery common to vaporizing devices. Like the Aura and the Purehit, its appearance is similar to many e-juice pen mods.

What Is the best Flowermate Vaporizer?

Flowermate shoppers are going to have a difficult time choosing which vaporizer to get. If you want something small and discreet, the Mini and the Nano models are good choices. If you want the top quality with low price, the Pro models are better than most in their price range. The pen-designed vaporizers - The Purehit, Aura, and Slick - are great for more casual users who like to be able to disassemble and clean their products. They are a little bit bigger than the V5 models, but boast a longer battery life because of that. If you like to use both concentrates and herbs or if you like novelty items, the Cross is a great choice. It also excels over long trips when there are no opportunities to refill your vape, since you can pack both oil and herb into it at the same time and switch from one to the other.

Flowermate Vaporizer Frequently Asked Questions

Flowermate Vaporizer Frequently Asked Questions

Flowermate Vaporizers work like most pocket vape devices, but they can be confusing if you are new to the vaping world. Let’s look at some common questions:

How to Pack a Flowermate Vape?

Most Flowermate Vapes have a heating chamber directly under the mouthpiece. Simply remove the glass, pack your ground herb product in, and smoke away. If you are using liquid concentrates, make sure to use the accessories that came with your vaporizer so that you do not damage your heating element.

How to Adjust the Temperature of the Flowermate Vape?

Flowermate Vaporizers have two possible temperature adjustment methods. Either you click the button three times fast to cycle through a set of preselected temperatures, or there are two buttons that move the temperature selection up or down.

Is It Worth It to Buy A Flowermate?

Flowermate Vaporizers are a great product for budget buyers. They are reliable products of decent quality - superior to most competitors in the same price range. Many of their vapes come with a one-year warranty and reviewers are generally impressed with how well the device holds up over time. The models that support battery swapping are a great investment because batteries are often the first part to lose potency on electric vaporizers.

How to Charge a Flowermate Vaporizer Battery?

Flowermate Vaporizers are all charged via USB. Some models have removable batteries which can be charged on their own or as part of the device. The V5 models have the added functionality of acting as batteries - you can plug your phone into them if you want to charge your phone instead of vaping. A vape charger also makes a convenient demonstration if you are ever challenged about what your vaporizer is - it is just a power bank!

How to Use a Flowermate Vaporizer?

All vaporizers follow the same basic pattern for use. Find the herb chamber, fill it with ground herbs, put it back in the vaporizer, wait for it to heat up, and inhale. Most Flowermates are filled from the top, under the mouthpiece. Some of them have chambers that require you to twist the top of the vaporizer off instead of just pulling on the mouthpiece.

Flowermate Vaporizers, especially the smaller models, are known for having hot mouthpieces. They do not get hot enough to hurt you, but it could be uncomfortable, so be aware when you are putting your lips on the mouthpiece.
