The bowl can be packed densely with ground up herb, but overly packing the bowl and not leaving any room to breathe will waste herb and lessen the overall flavor of the rips. Although you may be able to draw quickly, that heat won’t permeate the entire oven for another minute or so, which is when you can expect thicker draws. It is recommended to lightly pack bowls so airflow does not get obstructed and also so the flavor chamber can do its job. It’s a good idea to use it a few times without anything in the flavor chamber first, to get an idea of how this affects your draw. On a similar note, the mouthpieces offer different user experiences, and the only way to find out which you like is to try them both out.
Be sure to clean the pieces of your IQ in isopropyl alcohol at least once every week to two weeks, and also be sure to not allow any debris to build up in the oven or vapor path to ensure maximum functionality and the like-new feel of the device.
